PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – Taste of the Heights returns to Prospect Road’s restaurant row Thursday night.
The Chamber’s Val Swearingen says over 20 food and drink vendors are participating in the event, with a majority of them being Peoria Heights businesses. The others are from the Peoria area.
“You are free to walk around the event and go to different vendors sampling different foods. There’s also a ‘Dirty Soda’ place this year,” Swearingen says.
Samples and sips can be purchased with $1 taste tokens that are available at several booths on-site of Taste of the Heights.
There will be live entertainment and family-friendly activities geared towards kids as well.
Taste of the Heights runs from 5-9 p.m. Swearingen says though Prospect Road will be closed, you can park in any parking lot nearby.
