CDC says 345 sickened in Salmonella outbreak tied to jalapeno peppers

Aug 5 (Reuters) – The U.S. ​Centers ‌for Disease Control and ‌Prevention ​said ⁠on Wednesday ⁠345 people have gotten sick ​across ⁠27 ⁠states in ​a ​multistate Salmonella outbreak ‌linked to jalapeno ⁠peppers.

While 27 people have ⁠been hospitalized, ‌no ⁠deaths ​have ‌been reported, ​it ⁠said.
