Aug 3 (Reuters) – Amazon touched a $3 trillion market capitalization for the first time on Monday, joining a handful of Wall Street giants at the top as a wave of renewed artificial intelligence optimism lifted technology stocks to new highs.
Its shares were last up 3.1% at $279, hitting a record high and taking its yearly gains to 17.5%.
