PEORIA, Ill. – The cause of a fire to a vacant South Peoria house is under investigation.
Peoria Fire says crews responded to the home in the area of Adams and Faraday just after 4:00 A.M. Saturday.
Fire crews arrived to see flames from the first and second floors of the building, and quickly put it out on both floors.
No one was found inside the building after a search.
An arson investigator was called to the scene.
A firefighter suffered minor injuries after a step collapse while battling the fire.
