PEORIA, Ill. – A toddler has been injured after a shooting at a Peoria apartment complex on Friday afternoon.
The shooting occurred just before 2:15 P.M. near the Lexington Hills Apartments on West Fallen Oaks Lane.
The toddler was found with a gunshot wound to the leg and taken to a hospital in stable condition.
An investigation into how the shooting happened, as well as potential suspects, is underway.
