Iran executes man involved in January protests, state media reports

DUBAI, May 25 (Reuters) – ​Iran ‌executed a man over ‌charges ​related ⁠to ⁠the anti-government protests that took ​place ⁠nationwide ⁠in ​January, state ​media reported ‌on Monday.

The individual ⁠was identified as Abbas ⁠Akbari, ‌according ⁠to ​state ‌media.
