PEORIA, Ill. – A man arrested earlier this month for assaulting a Peoria Police officer has been indicted for multiple incidents.
Eric Anderson, 33, is accused of repeatedly punching the officer on the morning of April 12th, causing multiple eye fractures to the officer.
A grand jury on Tuesday indicted Anderson on a charge of Aggravated Battery on a Police Officer in that incident.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says Anderson has been indicted on Aggravated Battery charges in two other incidents.
Anderson allegedly punched a CityLink bus driver in the face on March 30th.
And on March 8th, he reportedly punched a Sharon Woods staff member several times…where Anderson was a resident at.
Anderson was ordered to remain in custody until his trial for the April 12th incident.
