PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – We’re learning more about the fatal New Year’s Day accident in rural Peoria County that claimed the life of a man, but detectives say they need more help.
The accident occurred Saturday at 5:40 a.m. in the 7600 block of Plank Road, claiming the life of Caleb Charlson, 40.
Now, detectives say a pickup truck was seen by eyewitnesses travelling westbound from the accident site, possibly with a flat front tire. The make, model, and color of the truck are not known.
