PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – What better way to officially kick off summer in the Heights than with some cold drinks?
The Peoria Heights Chamber is hosting “Hot In The Heights” Thursday night at Tower Park.
Valerie Swearingen says tickets are available online or at the event starting at 5:30 p.m.
“They are $20.00 to get in. And then to purchase cocktails, you’ll purchase tokens…very similar to how we run Taste of the Heights,” Swearingen says.
Of course, this is a 21 and over event. There will be food trucks and entertainment throughout the evening as well.
“We have the West Macqueen Street Band that will be performing from 5:30 to 6:30. And then Backstreet Radio will be performing from 7:00 to 9:30,” Swearingen says.
If you have any tokens left over from “Taste of the Heights”, Swearingen says that they can be redeemed at Thursday night’s event.
