PEORIA, Ill. – Numerous construction projects are slated to begin or continue next week.
The Cedar St. Bridge rehabilitation project is planned to continue on Wednesday. That’s when both directions will go down to one lane to setup for crossover traffic that will be in place through mid-May. After that, the bridge is scheduled to be blocked completely for up to two months.
The Moss Avenue Reconstruction project will also continue this upcoming week. On Wednesday, the Moss Avenue and MacArthur Highway intersection will be closed for three months. Detours will be marked in the area.
A portion of MacArthur Highway will be closed during the day on Monday, with northbound traffic shut down at Hurlburt St. The road is expected to reopen by 2:30 P.M.
Sidewalk and pavement removal will be the focus of a closure on Monday. Madison Park Terrace will be closed, starting at 7:00 A.M. The next day, Ann and Greenlawn will be closed. Both closures will last for around 10 weeks.
