PEORIA, Ill. – A fourth person has been arrested in connection to the robbery of a teenager last year in Peoria’s East Bluff.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 20-year-old Jorden Foster was arrested on Friday and ordered held at a detention hearing Monday.
A Peoria County grand jury previously indicted Foster with Armed Robbery in November last year.
Prosecutors say the incident occurred November 21st in the area of Peoria and Ravine.
That’s where the victim told police that multiple males allegedly armed with handguns approached him and threatened him before ordering him to remove his pants, shoes, and watch.
Prosecutors say the robbery was recorded on a cell phone, with the victim later telling police it was posted to Snapchat. The video reportedly identified several individuals involved through their social media accounts, one of which was Foster.
19-year-old Shamari Joiner, along with a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, have also been charged with Armed Robbery in the case.
