PEORIA, Ill. – On Monday, the University Street and Northmoor Intersection Reconstruction Project begins with lane closures on University Street from Cherokee Lane to the entrance of the North University Post Office.
The northbound and southbound passing lane and turn lanes on University will be closed to all traffic, while turns onto Northmoor from both directions of University will be permitted.

Bridge repairs begin on I-74 near Brimfield on Thursday with a crossover of westbound traffic at Peoria County Highway 69 scheduled for Friday. The eastbound lanes will share traffic and remain down to one lane each direction through early October.
On Monday, Smithville Road will close between Hilton Lane and Falcon Boulevard for bridge rehabilitation. The detour includes Airport Road, Lancaster Road and Cameron Lane. The closure will last until June.
