Peoria, Ill — A Peoria man accused in the death of his infant son has reportedly issued a plea of not guilty.
Our news partner 25 News reports 23-year-old Zachary Yeo issued the plea in court on Thursday.
Yeo faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery of a child and aggravated domestic battery.
Little Connor Yeo was take to OSF Medical November 12th on a call the baby wasn’t breathing.
Doctors and nurses reportedly managed to bring the boy back, but — the baby ultimately died about two weeks later following instensive care.
He was pronounced deceased Tuesday, November 23 at 11:57 p.m.
An autopsy shows Connor suffered severe blunt force head trauma by another.
