PEORIA, Ill. – Four adults have been displaced after a fire at a South Peoria home Friday afternoon.
Peoria Fire says crews arrived to find heavy smoke from the house at Antoinette and Laramie just after 3:30 P.M.
The fire was discovered in a bedroom in the front of the structure, and put out in about ten minutes before it could spread.
The house sustained smoke and water damage on the main level and basement.
Peoria Fire says the cause of the fire was accidental due to discarded smoking materials.
The Red Cross is providing housing to the four adults.
There were no injuries reported.
