PEORIA, Ill. – A teenager will spend several years in prison for his role in a shooting in Peoria’s East Bluff earlier this year.
Court records indicate 19-year-old Isaiah Throgmorton was sentenced to five years in prison on August 7th on a count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
A charge of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm was dismissed.
The incident occurred January 30th where Throgmorton reportedly fired a weapon in the area of Frye and Wisconsin.
A vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no victims were found and no injuries were reported.
Throgmorton reportedly admitted to firing the gun, but that he was not trying to shoot anyone.
