PEORIA, Ill. – A patient at OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center went out of a window yesterday Thursday morning.
In a statement from the hospital, the hospitalized man forced his way out of a locked patient room window at around 9:00 A.M.
The man landed on a lower-level rooftop, where he was recovered by Peoria Fire and Police.
The hospital says he was taken to the emergency room and readmitted to the hospital.
25 News reports the man’s condition is not known.
OSF Healthcare says they are cooperating with authorities in their investigation, and their thoughts and prayers are with the man and his loved ones.
