KEWANEE, Ill. – Vehicles stolen from Peoria and Brimfield were found Thursday morning by police in Kewanee.
Kewanee Police say their Flock Camera System detected the stolen vehicle from Peoria entering the city limits at around 4:15 A.M.
The vehicle, along with the other from Brimfield that was not yet reported stolen, was found at a Becks Gas station on Tenney Street.
Police say five juveniles fled when they saw police, with one being taken into custody immediately. A sixth juvenile suspect was found inside the gas station.
The remaining four were taken into custody shortly after fleeing.
The six were arrested and issued Juvenile Referrals and released to their guardians or DCFS custody.
