PEORIA, Ill. – A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting Tuesday morning in South Peoria.
Police responded at around 8:00 A.M. in the area of West Marquette and South Griswold on reports of a shooting.
They found a woman with apparent gunshot wounds upon arrival.
The shooting is under investigation.
