PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is accused of fleeing two traffic stops in two days, and in one of them, allegedly striking a Peoria Police officer.
A Peoria County Grand Jury Tuesday indicted Omar Denova, 22, on counts of Aggravated Battery and Fleeing and Eluding.
Denova allegedly fled traffic stops on November 11th and 12th – one at Knoxville and Nebraska involved the officer being hit with the vehicle.
Denova remains jailed and will be arraigned in both cases Thursday, November 30.
