PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has formally charged a woman with the shooting death of her boyfriend.
The grand jury Tuesday filed a single First-Degree Murder count against T’Nashia Wash, 18.
Wash allegedly shot and killed Roderick Richardson, 30, after Richardson said he’d shoot the both of them October 16th at a North Ellis Street home.
Wash remains in jail and will be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
The death was Peoria’s 23rd homicide reported this year. There, so far, have not been any other homicides reported.
