EAST PEORIA, Ill. – About $20,000 in damage was done to an East Peoria home that ended up on fire Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to a home near Meadow Avenue and Garden Street around just after 12:30 p.m.
Assistant Fire Chief Kim Riggenbach says both the home and the garage were damaged by the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and Riggenbach says one person was home at the time, and suffered minor injuries.
No one was hurt.
