PEORIA, Ill. – Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Peoria Monday night.
Officers were called around 10:15 p.m. to the area of W. Richwoods Boulevard and N. Molleck Drive, where they found a juvenile male who had been shot in the leg.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says the juvenile was not responsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details about the victim’s identity and cause of death will come later from the Peoria County Coroner’s Office.
PPD has no suspects at this time and are investigating. This appears to be Peoria’s 10th homicide of the year.

PPD Spokesperson Semone Roth told 25 News that officers were called around 10:15 p.m. to W. Richwoods Boulevard, near N. Molleck Drive, where they found a male victim who had been shot in the leg.
The victim’s age and condition were not available.
Police don’t have any suspects. More information is expected to be released on Tuesday.
