PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is jailed after a suspected fight led to a stabbing late Thursday night.
Peoria Police, according to a news release, went to a home near Frink and Columbia Terrace just after 11 p.m.
A male inside the home was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say Samuel Oyeyemi, 43, was in an upstairs room and taken into custody.
He’s charged with Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Domestic Battery.
Oyeyemi — also known as Samuel Hicks — is in jail.
