PEORIA, Ill. — A pre-dawn fire left serious damage and at least nine residents temporarily displaced from a home near the Bradley University campus early Saturday.
Peoria Fire officials say they got called to the home on West Bradley Avenue near the B-U campus around 4:12 a.m.
They found flames shooting out a third story window and all nine occupants of the home safely evacuated.
It took roughly 30 minutes for fire teams to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, but no other details were given.
No injuries were reported, but the property reportedly sustained around $125,000 in damage.
