PEORIA, Ill. – Whether you’re Irish, or not…everyone is welcome at this weekend’s Peoria Irish Fest.
Organizer Dan Haney says they’ll open the gates Friday at 4 p.m.
“We’ll be open until 11 (p.m.) both Friday and Saturday. We open at 12 (p.m.) Saturday. We have the Mass at 10:30 (a.m.) on Sunday. And, entry on Sunday is free…as long as you bring a canned good and come to Mass,” Haney says.
The weekend will be filled with plenty of Irish music, Irish dancing, and Celtic culture on the riverfront.
“We have such great performing acts, vendors and beverages. It turns into quite an enjoyable, fun time at the riverfront,” Haney says.
