TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. (25 News) – A dump truck and an SUV collided at a South Pekin intersection Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Illinois Rt. 29 and Hurt Road, near the Casey’s store.
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office told 25 News both drivers were hospitalized, but their conditions were not available.
The road was closed for about three hours for deputies to investigate the crash and clear the scene.
