PEORIA, Ill. – Several area road projects will be getting underway after the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Beginning Tuesday in West Peoria, Rohmann and Sterling Avenues will be closed for one week for maintenance.
Beginning Wednesday in Tremont, Allentown Road over I-155 will be closed until mid-September for major deck repairs.
Also beginning Wednesday in Peoria, the intersection of Warren and Widenham Streets will be closed to all traffic. The closure is necessary as part of the Combined Sewer Overflow Year 3 Control Project and expected to last, weather permitting, until August. Warren Street traffic should utilize DuSable Street.
Beginning Thursday north of Mossville, expect daytime lane closures at the intersection of Route 29 and Cedar Hills Drive for traffic signal work. The work will start left lane closures in both directions.
