PEORIA, Ill. – Two people were injured after a car hit a utility pole in the area of downtown Peoria Monday night.
Peoria Police say the crash happened around 7:20 p.m. at Fayette and Glendale.
Not many details were released, but police say of two people in the car injured, both were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition.
Police did not release what might have caused the crash.
It was one of what police described as nine “significant incidents” reported between Monday afternoon and early Tuesday morning.
