PEORIA, Ill. – A leader in the health community in the Peoria-area will have a new role with the state.
Peoria City/County Health Department Public Health Administrator Monica Hendrickson has been appointed to the Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
The appointment was announced by Governor J.B. Pritzker on Friday.
Hendrickson has served as Public Health Administration since July of 2017. In addition to the board appointment, she will begin a term in July as President of the Illinois Public Health Association.
The Health Facilities and Services Review Board’s purpose is to approve or deny applications for construction or expansion of health care facilities, as well as promoting facilities in areas where needed.
